ERP29: Target/Biomarker Introduction, products summarized (antibody/ADC/bispecific/antigen/ORF vector/VLP) and disease/indication/condition/MOA for drug discovery and IVD

It's the GeneMedi's summary page for Target/Biomarker Introduction of ERP29. The page also collects GeneMedi's different modalities and formats products for ERP29 in therapeutics/drug discovery and IVD diagnostics, which is including antibody, ADC, bispecific, antigen, ORF vector, VLP, etc. With GeneMedi's target-insight database-GM ITD database, the ERP29 target is also connected to human indications/diseases/conditions/MOA.

Target sublocation: Secreted Protein/Potential Cytokines.

This gene encodes a protein which localizes to the lumen of the endoplasmic reticulum (ER). It is a member of the protein disulfide isomerase (PDI) protein family but lacks an active thioredoxin motif, suggesting that this protein does not function as a disulfide isomerase. The canonical protein dimerizes and is thought to play a role in the processing of secretory proteins within the ER. Alternative splicing results in multiple transcript variants encoding different isoforms. [provided by RefSeq, Dec 2016]
