It's the GeneMedi's summary page for Target/Biomarker Introduction of UCN3. The page also collects GeneMedi's different modalities and formats products for UCN3 in therapeutics/drug discovery and IVD diagnostics, which is including antibody, ADC, bispecific, antigen, ORF vector, VLP, etc. With GeneMedi's target-insight database-GM ITD database, the UCN3 target is also connected to human indications/diseases/conditions/MOA.

Target sublocation: Secreted Protein/Potential Cytokines.

This gene encodes a member of the sauvagine/corticotropin-releasing factor/urotensin I family of proteins. The encoded preproprotein is proteolytically processed to generate the mature peptide hormone, which is secreted by pancreatic beta and alpha cells. This hormone is an endogenous ligand for corticotropin-releasing factor receptor 2 and may regulate insulin secretion in response to plasma glucose levels. Patients with type 2 diabetes exhibit reduced levels of the encoded protein in beta cells. In the brain, the encoded protein may be responsible for the effects of stress on appetite. Pre-made anti-UCN3 inhibitory monoclonal antibody(mab, blocking antibody inhibitor)-benchmark antibody for drug discovery and mechanism of action (MOA) research

Pre-made anti-UCN3 benchmark inhibitory monoclonal antibody(mab, blocking antibody inhibitor) is expressed by mammalian cell line as a benchmark antibody for cell culture, ELISA or other affinity binding assay or functional assay development, animal model development, PK/PD model development (Pharmacokinetics & Pharmacodynamic). The anti-UCN3 mab is expressed and produced by mammalian cell line as a benchmark reference therapeutic antibody for biological drug discovery items including cell culture, assay development, animal model development, PK/PD model development (Pharmacokinetics & Pharmacodynamic) and mechanism of action (MOA) research.
