AAV8-1m Rep-Cap plasmid (retina-validated serotype AAV-RC plasmid)

GeneMedi's AAV8-1m Rep-Cap plasmid supplies the AAV2 Rep (replication) proteins and the AAV8-1m capsid protein.

You can produce AAV8-1m particle in 293T cell line in high titer using GeneMedi's AAV8-1m Rep-Cap plasmid with GM's AAV expression vector (overexpression or shRNA) and AAV helper plasmid.

The tissue tropism of AAV8 variant(Y733F) vector has been validated in retina with higher transduction efficiency and more rapid onset of expression in photoreceptor cells by both intravitreal injection and sub-retinal injection with potential applications in retina gene therapy.
