GeneMedi SOLIDEX™-ISOEx Immunocytes Cell Isolation Immunomagnetic Beads provide cutting-edge magnetic separation solutions for comprehensive immune cell isolation. The platform covers essential immune cell types including NK cells, B cells, Pan T cells, CD4+ T cells, and CD8+ T cells. Additionally, GeneMedi also offers extensive selection capabilities targeting critical cellular markers such as CD66b+ cells, CD34+ cells, CD14+ cells, TCR alpha-beta (abT)+ cells, CD138+ cells, CD45RA+ cells, CD45+ cells, CD16+ cells, and CD25+ cells, ensuring ultra-high purity isolation while maintaining cellular integrity throughout the separation process.

GeneMedi SOLIDEX™-ISOEx features three distinct isolation methodologies to meet diverse research requirements. The Positive Selection platform enables direct capture of specific cell populations using antibodies against well-defined surface markers, ideal for applications requiring precisely characterized cellular subsets. The Negative Selection system provides superior preservation of native cellular function through magnetic depletion of non-target cells, yielding completely untouched and functionally pristine target populations. For specific depletion needs, the Depletion strategy allows precise removal of defined cell types from complex mixtures. All three SOLIDEX™-ISOEx platforms are engineered to deliver outstanding performance, providing researchers with flexible solutions that balance high purity requirements with optimal cellular function preservation for both research and clinical applications.

Our magnetic bead-based isolation systems support two flexible labeling strategies to accommodate diverse experimental needs:

Direct Magnetic Activated Cell Separation (Direct MACS) Indirect Magnetic Activated Cell Separation (Indirect MACS)
Principle: Antibodies are directly conjugated to magnetic beads, allowing for immediate cell capture and isolation.
Advantages: Ideal for fast, one-step separation of target cells with minimal handling.
Principle: Antibodies are biotinylated, enabling secondary capture via streptavidin (SA)-coupled magnetic beads.
Advantages: Provides enhanced flexibility, particularly when multiplex labeling or sequential isolation is required.
Direct MACS Indirect MACS
Column-Based Magnetic Separation Column-Free Magnetic Separation
Principle: This method utilizes a column packed with a ferromagnetic matrix placed within a strong external magnetic field. Cells labeled with 50nm magnetic bead-conjugated antibodies are passed through the column. The powerful magnetic field gradient generated by the matrix traps the labeled target cells, while unlabeled cells flow through. After washing, the isolated target cells are eluted by removing the column from the magnet.
Advantages: The key advantage is the high purity of the isolated cell population. The column system creates a high-gradient magnetic field that ensures efficient capture of cells, even those weakly labeled or present in low numbers. This makes it ideal for applications requiring the highest possible purity.
Principle: This streamlined method uses specialized magnetic beads that can be separated directly in standard tubes or other vessels. After incubating the cell sample with the bead-conjugated antibodies, the tube is placed on a suitable magnet (e.g., a magnetic stand). The labeled target cells are attracted to the wall of the tube by the magnetic force, while the unlabeled cells remain in the suspension. The supernatant containing undesired cells is simply decanted or pipetted away.
Advantages:The primary advantages are speed, simplicity, and scalability. It is a faster process that does not require specialized columns, making it perfect for quick experiments, processing large sample volumes, or simultaneous isolation of multiple samples. This format is highly suitable for routine isolation and high-throughput workflows.

Validation Data

Efficient Isolation of Jurkat Cells Using GeneMedi's Indirect TCRα/β T Cell Isolation Kit

To evaluate the performance of GeneMedi's Indirect TCRα/β T Cell Isolation Kit, Jurkat cells were mixed with 293T-GFP cells at a 1:2 ratio, followed by magnetic separation using both GeneMedi's kit and a competitor's (Company M's TCRα/β T Cell Isolation Kit). The purity of isolated Jurkat cells was assessed via flow cytometry analysis. GeneMedi's Indirect TCRα/β T Cell Isolation Kit delivers superior cell isolation performance.

Human peripheral blood mononuclear cells (PBMCs) were freshly recovered and subjected to TCRα/β+ T or CD14+ cell isolation using GeneMedi's Indirect Cell Isolation Kit and Company M's Cell kit. The isolated cell population was analyzed by flow cytometry to evaluate purity and efficiency.
