Pan-T Cells encompass all T cell subtypes, including helper T cells, cytotoxic T cells, and regulatory T cells. They are core to adaptive immunity, coordinating cell-mediated immunity and humoral immune regulation, playing a crucial role in infection defense, tumor immunity, and autoimmune diseases.
CD3E (CD3 epsilon) is a key subunit of the T cell receptor (TCR) complex, part of the CD3 molecule family (which includes CD3ε, CD3δ, CD3γ, and CD3ζ subunits), and is widely expressed on the surface of all mature T cells, making it a universal marker for Pan-T cells. immunomagnetic cell separation is a commonly used technique for isolating Pan-T cells, utilizing beads coated with antibodies for efficient separation.
