IL36RN: Target/Biomarker Introduction, products summarized (antibody/ADC/bispecific/antigen/ORF vector/VLP) and disease/indication/condition/MOA for drug discovery and IVD

It's the GeneMedi's summary page for Target/Biomarker Introduction of IL36RN. The page also collects GeneMedi's different modalities and formats products for IL36RN in therapeutics/drug discovery and IVD diagnostics, which is including antibody, ADC, bispecific, antigen, ORF vector, VLP, etc. With GeneMedi's target-insight database-GM ITD database, the IL36RN target is also connected to human indications/diseases/conditions/MOA.

Target sublocation: Secreted Protein/Potential Cytokines.

The protein encoded by this gene is a member of the interleukin 1 cytokine family. This cytokine was shown to specifically inhibit the activation of NF-kappaB induced by interleukin 1 family, member 6 (IL1F6). This gene and eight other interleukin 1 family genes form a cytokine gene cluster on chromosome 2. Two alternatively spliced transcript variants encoding the same protein have been reported. IL36RN (Interleukin 36 Receptor Antagonist) is a Protein Coding gene. Diseases associated with IL36RN include Psoriasis 14, Pustular and Pustulosis Palmaris Et Plantaris. Among its related pathways are IL-1 Family Signaling Pathways. Gene Ontology (GO) annotations related to this gene include cytokine activity and interleukin-1 receptor antagonist activity. An important paralog of this gene is IL1RN.
