Involved in mitotic G2 DNA damage checkpoint signaling and protein phosphorylation. Acts upstream of or within G2/M transition of mitotic cell cycle; peptidyl-serine phosphorylation; and response to UV. Located in cell junction; cytoplasm; and nucleoplasm.
