Target/Biomarker information
The thyroid produces a hormone called triiodothyronine (T3). Most of the T3 binds to protein and some T3 doesn’t bind to protein is called free T3 and circulates unbound in blood. The diagnosis of T3 examine the disorder of thyroid such as hyperthyroidism and hypopituitarism.
