    Target/Biomarker information

Serum squamous cell carcinoma antigen (SCC Ag) represents a subfraction of tumor-associated antigens related to squamous cell carcinoma and is widely used as a marker in squamous cell carcinoma of the head and neck, lung, and esophagus, among others. The most common histological type of cervical cancer is squamous cell carcinoma, accounting for more than 70% of cervical cancer cases in the United States and for approximately 90% in China .
