The target: CSGALNACT1, gene name: CSGALNACT1, also named as CSGalNAcT-1, ChGn, ChGn-1, beta4GalNAcT. This gene encodes an enzyme that transfers N-acetylglucosamine (GalNAc) to the core tetrasaccharide linker and to elongating chondroitin sulfate chains in proteoglycans. Knockout of the orthologous mouse gene indicates that the protein is necessary for normal cartilage development and aggrecan metabolism. Mutations in this gene are associated with multiple sclerosis progression, and with mild skeletal dysplasia and joint laxity. [provided by RefSeq, Aug 2017].

    About Gmab

    GDU
    GDU

GMab, developed by GeneMedi, constitutes an advanced library of recombinant monoclonal antibodies, each meticulously designed to target specific molecular entities. Leveraging the sophisticated capabilities of GM’s Taurus™ and LIBRA™ platforms, GMab synthesizes antibodies characterized by high binding affinity, exceptional physicochemical stability, and optimal developability profiles.

Through expression in mammalian cell lines, GMab has been established as a paradigmatic reference antibody. It holds significance in myriad domains of biological drug discovery, encompassing cellular cultivation, innovative assay methodologies, strategic animal model systematization, in-depth pharmacokinetic & pharmacodynamic (PK/PD) modeling, and intricate mechanism of action (MOA) investigations.
