The target: LRBA, gene name: LRBA, also named as BGL, CDC4L, CVID8, LAB300, LBA. The protein encoded by this gene is a member of the WDL-BEACH-WD (WBW) gene family. Its expression is induced in B cells and macrophages by bacterial lipopolysaccharides (LPS). The encoded protein associates with protein kinase A and may be involved in leading intracellular vesicles to activated receptor complexes, which aids in the secretion and/or membrane deposition of immune effector molecules. Defects in this gene are associated with the disorder common variable immunodeficiency-8 with autoimmunity. Two transcript variants encoding different isoforms have been found for this gene. About Gmab
GMab, developed by GeneMedi, constitutes an advanced library of recombinant monoclonal antibodies, each meticulously designed to target specific molecular entities. Leveraging the sophisticated capabilities of GM’s Taurus™ and LIBRA™ platforms, GMab synthesizes antibodies characterized by high binding affinity, exceptional physicochemical stability, and optimal developability profiles.
Through expression in mammalian cell lines, GMab has been established as a paradigmatic reference antibody. It holds significance in myriad domains of biological drug discovery, encompassing cellular cultivation, innovative assay methodologies, strategic animal model systematization, in-depth pharmacokinetic & pharmacodynamic (PK/PD) modeling, and intricate mechanism of action (MOA) investigations.
