Definition of the disease: Infectious pancreatic necrosis (IPN) is a highly contagious viral disease of young fish of salmonid species held under intensive rearing conditions. The disease most characteristically occurs in rainbow trout (Oncorhynchus mykiss), brook trout (Salvelinus fontinalis), brown trout (Salmo trutta), Atlantic salmon (Salmo salar), and several Pacific salmon species (Oncorhynchus spp.). Susceptibility generally decreases with age, with resistance to clinical disease in salmonid fish usually being reached at about 1500 degree-days (value obtained by multiplying the age in days by the average temperature in degrees centigrade during the lifespan) , except for Atlantic salmon smolts, which can be affected normally within the first weeks after transfer from fresh water to seawater, but also before seawater transfer . The first sign of an outbreak in salmonid fry is frequently a sudden and usually progressive increase in daily mortality, particularly in the faster growing individuals. Clinical signs include darkening pigmentation, a pronounced distended abdomen and a corkscrewing/spiral swimming motion. Cumulative mortalities in a tank may vary from less than 10% to more than 90% depending on the combination of several factors, such as virus strain and infectious dose (Okamoto et al., 1984), host and environment. For further details see reviews by Hill , Reno and Wolf .

Genemedi produces core animal health diagnostic ingredients-validated antibodies pairs Mouse anti-Infectious Pancreatic Necrosis monoclonal Antibody and Infectious Pancreatic Necrosis antigens for rapid test kit of animal infectious disease with Infectious Pancreatic Necrosis to evaluate the animal health of Fish.

The paired antibodies are both monoclonal antibody(mab).

All the antibodies and antiges of animal disease test are suitable for in functional ELISA, and other immunoassays in dignostics.The antibody can act as a capture antibody and detection antibody. Antigens are validated as positive control materials.

Description

GMP-AD-Fish-1Ab, GMP-AD-Fish-1Ag

Cat No. GMP-AD-Fish-1Ab
Antigens Infectious Pancreatic Necrosis
Antibody Mouse anti-Infectious Pancreatic Necrosis monoclonal Antibody
Resource (expression host) hybridoma
Specics/Isotypes Mouse IgG
Bioactivity validation Antibody Binding, Immunogen in Sandwich Elisa, lateral-flow tests,and other immunoassays in Infectious Pancreatic Necrosis level test and Fish-diagnositcs.
Antigen description Duck plague (also known as duck viral enteritis) is a worldwide disease caused by Anatid alphaherpesvirus 1 (AnHV-1) of the family Herpesviridae that causes acute disease with high mortality rates in flocks of ducks, geese, and swans. It is spread both vertically and horizontally—through contaminated water and direct contact. Migratory waterfowl are a major factor in the spread of this disease as they are often asymptomatic carriers of disease. The incubation period is three to seven days. Birds as young as one week old can be infected. DEV is not zoonotic.
Purity Purity: ≥95% (SDS-PAGE)
Application Paired antibody immunoassay validation in sandwich Elisa, Lateral flow immunoassay (LFIA), and other immunoassays;
Formulation Lyophilized from sterile PBS, PH 7.4
Storage Store at -20℃ to -80℃ under sterile conditions. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
